Sorting the compartments!

A big hello on this blustery Monday morning! It's Jordan from Team Cake here, bringing you a quick post while Mags is hard at work.

I have a week off work this week to do nothing more than relax and put my life in order! As busy multi-tasking women it isn't just our stomachs that have separate compartments. Sometimes life is so busy trying to juggle a million different things at once.

So after a hectic few months I thought a week off would be great to do some non-pressing things like eventually changing my name over to my married name at the bank and maybe even sorting my 'Monica Cupboard' at the front door that helps with the illusion of a tidy house, but causes an avalanche whenever its door is opened.

Top of my list is to make time to read a lovely book, having not read anything non-work related for quite some time!

Last month Margaret bought me Jenny Colgan's "Meet me at the Cupcake Cafe" for my birthday and I settled down in a rather large bubble bath to start reading it last night. As I turned to the first page to find the words 'For anyone who's ever licked the spoon", I thought yes this book is for me!

I'll be sure to keep you updated and let you know whether it's worth a read. In its early pages I've also been made aware of 'The Caked Crusader' - a fab blog with the simple aim to spread the word that 'Cake is good'! Will spend some of my week reading some of their delicious posts :-)

Hell I might even try to bake some cakes!!! (Don't worry, my love will always be of EATING not BAKING!)

Anyway, over and out for now, I have some blogging to catch up with and that all important appointment at the bank to get ready for :-)

xxx
